

Seasoned, Marinated Roasted Chicken Drumsticks
This is a recipe inspired by KFC Grilled Chicken. It’s actually adapted from Todd Wilbur’s rendition with my own twist of course… and no MSG 🤗
There are few times in life that my daughter will scream, “yum, I love those”. She’s officially the pickiest eater I’ve ever seen. She’s a thousand times pickier than my son. Then it happened! She saw the drumsticks and screamed it, the clouds parted and there was sun. Not going to lie though, Mike won’t eat drumsticks so he had a steak. My family is officially spoiled 😕
This is how you make it:
Combine all the marinade ingredients together in a large pot then add in the chicken drumsticks.
Transfer to the fridge and marinate for 2 hours.
Remove the chicken pieces and pat dry.
Combine all the ingredients together for the seasoning in a large mixing bowl then add in the chicken drumsticks; mix well to coat.
Once the chicken has absorbed all the seasoning transfer the chicken pieces to a greased baking sheet.
Roast at 425 for 45 minutes, flip halfway through the cooking time.
Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Ingredients
Marinade
1/4 Cup salt
2 tbsp sugar
2 tsp Soy Sauce
8 Cups cold water
12 –18 Chicken drumsticks
Seasoning:
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
