Description

A recipe for smoky, spicy enchilada sauce that comes together in a blender, in 5 minutes!

Ingredients

Scale

796 ml Canned tomatoes

3/4 Cup water

3 tbsp chili powder

3 tbsp taco seasoning

1 Small onion, chopped

3 Garlic cloves

1/2 tsp salt, plus more to taste

Pepper, to taste

Instructions

Blend everything together until smooth.

Notes

  1.  I used a can of crushed tomatoes but you can go with whatever you have on hand.
  2. Feel free to use store-bought taco seasoning if you’d like to save time.
  3. I used the “mix” setting on my blender.
  4. The sauce thins out after its cooked because I used crushed tomatoes which tend to be thicker.
