Chili – Cheese Sliders
This is more of a resource or recommendation for using up your leftovers in a fun and creative way. I say this in all seriousness… because this is what we had for dinner the other night!
Serves 4
4 Dinner rolls (or slider buns)
1-2 Cups of leftover Chili, warmed (I just used the microwave)
¼ Cup extra old cheddar cheese, grated
Preheat your oven to broil.
Slice the rolls in half and cover the bottom half with 2-3 tbsp of the chili and top with a pinch of the cheddar.
Place under the broiler until the cheese is melted and the buns are slightly toasted.
Notes:
- Top with light sour cream or guacamole if you have it on hand.
- Garnish with green onions if you can.
