Chili – Cheese Sliders

This is more of a resource or recommendation for using up your leftovers in a fun and creative way. I say this in all seriousness… because this is what we had for dinner the other night!

Serves 4

4 Dinner rolls (or slider buns)

1-2 Cups of leftover Chili, warmed (I just used the microwave)

ÂĽ Cup extra old cheddar cheese, grated

Preheat your oven to broil.

Slice the rolls in half and cover the bottom half with 2-3 tbsp of the chili and top with a pinch of the cheddar.

Place under the broiler until the cheese is melted and the buns are slightly toasted.

Notes:

  1. Top with light sour cream or guacamole if you have it on hand.
  2. Garnish with green onions if you can.
