Classic Shrimp Stir Fry
I am a sucker for a great stir fry! The more veggies, the better – crispy, crunchy deliciousness 😋
On this particular day I wanted a sauce like teriyaki but not teriyaki, you know what I mean 🤷♀️🤗
This is how I did it:
In a deep pan, preheat the oil on high. When it’s hot (it will ripple) add the veggies to the pan and season lightly with salt and pepper. Sauté veggies for 4-5 minutes then set aside.
Prepare the Stir fry sauce by whisking together al ingredients, set aside.
Return the hot pan to high heat and add in the shrimp, again season with salt and pepper. Saute until the shrimp start to turn pink.
Add in the sauted veggies, along with any juices on the plate…
… then add in the bean sprouts; season with salt and pepper.
Give the stir fry sauce another quick mix then add it to the pan, let it come to a boil then simmer it on medium-low until the sauce has thickened.
