Baked Bone-in Chicken Breasts
Here I present a simple recipe for Baked Bone-in Chicken Breasts; seasoned to perfection then pan seared in butter, a fantastic alternative to the everyday boneless chicken breast.
My daughter goes to gymnastics every weekend so I met another gymnastics mom and we became friends ❤️
She’s really awesome and makes me laugh.
She swears by her air-fryer, simply because according to her, she can’t cook!
Man did she luck out when she met me 🤣
I’ve been walking my buddy through some recipes then she mentioned a local store had bone-in chicken breasts on sale.
I love bone-in chicken breasts.
I called Mike and he stopped at the store on his way home to pick up some of the bone-in chicken breasts… this is what I made!
Side note
I learned the garlic in the chicken breasts trick years ago from my ex-boyfriend’s mother.
Adding the cloves of garlic in the meat adds tons of flavour but more importantly, it adds moisture to what can often be dry, chicken. You can do it with most cuts of meat though; its fantastic in roast beef 🙂
Here you go you gymnastics, air fryer loving mama 🥰
This is how you make Baked Bone-in Chicken Breasts
Preheat your oven to 375.
Cut two slits into the chicken breasts and put a piece of the garlic in each hole.
Season the chicken breasts with the salt, pepper and seasoning.
Add the butter to an oven-safe skillet and turn the heat to medium-high. When the butter is melted add the chicken breasts to the pan, season side down and brown for 4 minutes.
Flip the chicken then transfer the pan to the oven and bake uncovered for 40-45 minutes.
Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Look at that deliciousness…
Enjoy 🙂
