Spicy Burger Sauce

This is a spicy kick to my rendition of the incredible Big Mac sauce. There. I said it; I love Big Macs. Always have. Always will. They’re delicious. Only problem? They’re not too good for your waistline although in terms of fast food, I think McDonald’s is one of the healthier options out there. So here I’ve taken my favourite sauce and made it a little spicy therefore ensuring I’ll use less (clever) even though I’m using light mayonnaise (genius) and I’m putting it on homemade burgers where I control all ingredients and use extra lean ground beef and a perfect portion size for health (yay!).

Description

My copycat Big Mac sauce with a spicy kick!

Ingredients

Scale

½ Cup light mayonnaise

2 tbsp ketchup

1 tbsp sweet relish

2 tsp white vinegar

1 tsp sriracha

1 tsp yellow mustard

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp pepper

Instructions

Stir all ingredients together!

Notes

  1. It has to be mayonnaise, not miracle whip (no offence!).
  2. Omit the hot sauce for a more classic flavour.
  3. This will keep in the fridge in an airtight jar for up to a week.
  4. I served this on my My Favourite go to Beef Burger!
