Easy Pickles
I have a confession to make. I love pickles. I love, love, love pickles. I order extra pickles every time I order a hamburger whether it’s from a restaurant or my absolute favourite Big Mac 🍔
You’ll always find a half-eaten jar of pickles in my fridge. You’re also very likely to catch me eating a pickle as a quick snack ☺️
Oooh and the crunchier the better.
I’ve been meaning to share this recipe for years but honestly I usually eat the pickles before I shoot them!
This is how you make them:
Bring the vinegar, water, sugar, garlic powder, mustard seeds, salt and pepper to a boi to make the brine.
Meanwhile place the dill inside a clean jar then add in the cucumbers.
Pour the boiling brine into the jar.
Immediately put the lids on the hot jar (carefully).
Turn the jar upside down slowly a few times to make the cucumbers get covered and to mix the seasoning.
Let the jar sit on your counter until its cool enough to go in your fridge.
Refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.
