Thousand Island Dressing

Here I present my recipe for a complete copycat rendition of the classic; Thousand Island Dressing!

Why Thousand Island Dressing?

The smart aZZ in me wants to say, “why not?”

🤣🤣🤣

Honestly though its been on my mind since I published my Copycat Kraft French Dressing,in that recipe I mentioned that I couldn’t stomach the thought of Thousand Island but…

I was wrong

Words Mike NEVER hears!!!!

I’m funny today

I tried this recipe because I had iceberg lettuce on hand and I figured it can’t get much more classic than that.

The recipe was a huge hit with my kids and Mike, the kids even went in for seconds.  I highly recommend this recipe because its easy and you probably already have all the ingredients on hand.

This is how you make it

Combine all the ingredients together and mix well (I use a mason jar).

Refrigerate the dressing for a few hours before serving then give it another quick mix before dressing your salad.

I went old school and went with iceberg lettuce, red onion, celery and of course…tomatoes 🙂

Toss and serve immediately 🙂

Ingredients used in this recipe

Great Value Real Mayonnaise

Pro tip of the day – this mayonnaise tastes IDENTICAL to Hellman’s Mayonnaise but its half the price!

Great Value Tomato Ketchup

Sweet Green Relish

What I served with this salad

(for myself and our daughter)

and…

Steak

(for Mike and our son)
