Meal Plan Week 142

Planning ahead is key to meal prep.  My kids will ask me on Sunday what we’re going to have for dinner the following Thursday and I always have an answer!

 

Monday:

Slower Cooker Pot Roast in a Rich Tomato Sauce

Prep the crockpot recipe on Sunday then store in your fridge until Monday morning.  Set the crock pot to low on Monday morning then follow the recipe to when you get home from work to finish it off…

Tuesday:

Quick Night Tandoori

…serve with 2 cups of rice, cooked according to package directions.  1 cup uncooked rice makes 2 cups cooked.

…prep enough for two salads and then store half in the fridge for Wedneday’s dinner.

 

Wednesday:

Crusty Homemade Bread

As always you can go with store-bought bread.  Simply throw a loaf of bread in the freezer the day you buy it and take it out an hour before you sit down to eat, it’ll be just like fresh baked, oooh warm it slightly in the oven!

 

Thursday:

Louisiana Chicken Pasta
