[3]Commie Burger Sauce
Here I present an easy burger sauce based on the classic Russian Dressing, thus my Commie Burger Sauce; the classic sauce with horseradish!
I’m not one for derogatory remarks or names or politics…. (eeeek, I don’t want to offend anyone, ever)
Especially here, my safe space.
But!!!
We all know what’s happening in Europe, devastating history in the making.
So to lighten the terribleness I thought I’d have fun with the name of this sauce… it’s adapted from the classic Russian dressing and I’ve been watching a ton of Stranger Things with my daughter and they reference Commies quite a bit.
I hope for world peace but for my part I present my Commie Burger Sauce
This is how you make it
First you make my Thousand Island Dressing [4]:
Combine all the ingredients together and mix well (I use a mason jar).
Refrigerate the dressing for a few hours before serving then give it another quick mix before building your burger sauce.
(That is literally from the recipe!)
Then…
You add the horseradish. For the full amount in the recipe you add 1 tbsp of prepared horseradish.
Here I poured 1/3 Cup of the dressing so I added 1 tsp of horseradish 🙂
Mix well and enjoy 🙂

Commie Burger Sauce

Description
This is an easy burger sauce based on the classic Russian Dressing, thus my Commie Burger Sauce; the classic sauce with horseradish!
Ingredients
1/2 cup mayo
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp relish
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
Instructions
Combine the mayo, ketchup, relish, lemon juice, onion powder, salt and pepper.
Refrigerate the dressing for a few hours before serving then give it another quick mix before building your burger sauce.
Stir in the horseradish.
Enjoy 🙂
